Confirmed Locations in Star Wars: Zero Company

Confirmed locations hint at the kind of missions and characters Star Wars: Zero Company players might encounter — and the possibilities go far beyond what’s announced.

Star Wars: Zero Company has already confirmed a handful of locations, each carefully chosen to fit the tone of a desperate, squad-driven story set during the Clone Wars. But these places also raise questions: who might we meet there? What new missions could these settings open up? And what other iconic worlds could be waiting in the wings?

Ring of Kafrene

The heart of your operations is The Den, located on the Ring of Kafrene. First seen in Rogue One and later Andor, the Ring is a lawless mining station suspended between two asteroids. In Zero Company, it serves as your squad’s base, where you’ll recruit new members, upgrade gear, and possibly take on side missions through contacts in the underworld. Expect to meet slicers, bounty hunters, informants, and outcasts—people willing to work with a rogue Republic unit operating outside official orders. The Den feels like the perfect place to find shady allies, dubious missions, and high-risk, high-reward contracts.

Sereno

Sereno, the homeworld of Count Dooku, offers something entirely different. In The Clone Wars and The Bad Batch, Serenno was shown as a place of wealth, power, and ultimately devastation. By the time Zero Company reaches it, the Separatists’ grip will be strong. It’s reasonable to expect high-ranking Separatist officers, mercenary bodyguards, and treasure hunters scavenging through Dooku’s abandoned riches. A raid on Serenno could easily bring your squad face-to-face with local warlords trying to claim Dooku’s legacy for themselves, or Republic special ops forces with competing objectives.

Vandor

Vandor, the icy frontier world from Solo: A Star Wars Story, leans into the criminal underbelly of the galaxy. It’s the kind of place where you might run into Black Sun operatives, smugglers tied to Crimson Dawn, or mercenary groups looking to profit from the Clone Wars chaos. If Zero Company sends you to Vandor, it will likely involve clandestine deals, extractions, or sabotage missions in a harsh environment where blizzards can kill as easily as blasters.

Mapuzo

Mapuzo, seen in Obi-Wan Kenobi, adds another layer. Under Imperial control by the time of Obi-Wan’s story, during the Clone Wars era Mapuzo may already be sliding into corruption and exploitation. Mining guilds, corporate-backed militias, and early Separatist sympathizers could all make appearances. A mission here might involve helping civilians, taking down slaver operations, or stopping valuable resources from falling into enemy hands.

Anaxes

Anaxes remains only hinted at so far, but it fits the setting perfectly. During the Clone Wars, Anaxes was a critical Republic stronghold, home to shipyards and command centers. If it appears in Zero Company, expect large-scale engagements, defense missions, or sabotage operations on critical Republic or Separatist infrastructure. You might encounter clone commanders, Republic admirals, and possibly Jedi generals coordinating the broader war effort.

Speculation

Beyond the confirmed locations, there’s room to speculate. The game’s setting and focus on the Clone Wars opens the door for appearances by planets like Tatooine, Umbara, or even Mandalore. Tatooine might seem out of place at first, but if the developers want to tap into the bounty hunter and criminal elements of the galaxy, it would be a natural fit. Cad Bane, the infamous bounty hunter, was active during this period and operated across various Outer Rim worlds, including Tatooine. A mission involving Bane, either as a dangerous rival or a temporary, uneasy ally, would fit the tone of the game perfectly.

Umbara could offer a darker twist. Known for the brutal, infamous campaign led by Jedi General Pong Krell, Umbara’s dense battles and moral ambiguity would slot right into Zero Company’s scrappy, conflicted style. Missions on Umbara could be high-risk, high-loss affairs where player choices really hurt.

Mandalore is another strong candidate. With the planet locked in political chaos during the Clone Wars, missions here could involve navigating shifting allegiances between the Republic, Death Watch, and neutral Mandalorian factions. Introducing Mandalorian characters into your squad, or fighting against them, would add even more flavor to squad composition.

It’s important to remember that Zero Company isn’t telling a Jedi-led story. It’s a ground-level, soldier-focused campaign. That means any character appearances – Cad Bane, Aurra Sing, Hondo Ohnaka, or others – would have to make sense within a smaller, personal narrative. No grand sweeping battles to save the galaxy, just messy, survival-driven missions where loyalty is earned one firefight at a time.

With the few locations already confirmed, the potential is wide open. If the team at Bit Reactor and Respawn lean into the rougher, more dangerous corners of Star Wars lore, Zero Company could end up feeling like the most personal Clone Wars story ever told.
